GRP
This Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), incorporates many of the best features of
the highly popular aluminium system, available from Harsco Infrastructure, within
a product that offers the highest levels of protection and great versatility.
GRP towers are widely accepted for use in most high-risk environments.
Zone 1 Areas
Zone 1 areas are defined as areas in which an explosive atmosphere is possible
in normal operation. In these areas only Zone 1 rated materials are acceptable.
There are many other areas within industrial and manufacturing processes that
represent a greater than usual risk of fire or hazard arising from electrical
or chemical contact. Similarly, many ‘clean’ environments associated with food
and hi-tech manufacture have equally stringent safety and hygiene requirements.
