Precast & special formwork | Innovative & cost effective
The construction industry is continually evolving and the increasing use of precast concrete and modular manufacture is one of many evolutions pushing cost reduction and safe working boundaries on site.
In response to the changing needs of customers, Harsco Infrastructure are determined to identify new ways to provide you with the most efficient and cost effective equipment to meet your requirements.
We offer a reliable range of temporary works components specifically designed for precast structures:
- Aligning struts, props, ties and stop-ends for precast walls, columns and slabs
- Mechanisms for climbing precast cores
- Edge protection for precast walls, slabs and staircases
- Methods of access to and around precast walls and slabs
Alignment props
All alignment struts serve as a support for pre-fabricated walls or as props. This allows for the quick and accurate erection of even large sized elements. In spite of their size, alignment struts are easy to transport and can be quickly and easily anchored, using the quick action fastener.
The threaded part of the alignment strut is covered ensuring they are protected from dirt and can easily be maintained and ready for use, even after multiple applications.
All parts of the system are galvanised or partially made from aluminium.
Precast ladders
The precast wall ladder has been specifically designed to enable safe, quick and easy access to precast walls, without the need for bulky aluminuim towers. The ladder provides a safe working platform and can easily be moved along the precast wall.
Adjustable hook heights and widths can cope with all structure heights and sizes.
Tables, columns, gantries & trusses
We can design and manufacture an innovative and tailored formwork solution to suit specific site requirements with an experienced team of designers that can produce detailed special formwork designs.
Special designs include column shutters, curved wave wall shutters, complex moving tables, wall formwork gantries, bridge pier trusses and match-casting shutters.
In 2010 SGB, Hünnebeck, Patent and ESCO joined forces to operate under the new name of Harsco Infrastructure.
